Afua, Tatsuya, and Ako
Our story begins with Ako Neal. As a little girl growing up in Tomarang all Ako has dreamed about is being a famous actress. A surprise inheritance of $4000 gives her the money she needs to move to Copperdale to try to make it big. She finds a talent agency, books a few gigs and immediately falls for fellow actor Tatsya Nakagawa. The chemistry is intense! But imagine her disappointment when he says he isn't interested!! Later that day a friend, Makoa asks her out. But on their first date she learns that he is already married!! A mysterious phone call offers her a big inheritance if she marries in the next week which only makes Ako more frustrated about Tatsuya's "No thanks" and Makoas betrayal. Even worse Tatsuya calls her later to let her know he's interested in someone else!! She calls up her bestie Vanesha who suggests a girls night in San Myshuno. In a tiny karaoke bar in the Fashion district she encounters Ekene Ananou, an elder who is quickly drawn to her outgoing nature and kind actions. He immediately proposes and even though she isn't really feeling it Ako says yes, she needs that inheritance money! But surprise! Ekene is raising his granddaughter whose mother passed away in a fire. Ekene and Afua move into Ako's house in Copperdale but just a few days later Ekene falls prey to a killer rabbit! Left with his orphan granddaughter Ako sets out to try to find ANY family she has left. This leads her down a path of secrets and lies. Afua is the secret love child of Adekoya, the former king of the Darong Dynasty of Ondarian. Ako confronts Adekoya but ultimately accepts the deal to continue the secret...for now. She adopts Afua officially and with the money Ekene has left her, the inheritance she earned from the marriage, and the sale of her home in Copperdale decides to move to San Myshuno to continue her dream of being an actress. At a festival she runs into a man named Akachi Onjoa. They hit it off immediately! Ako thinks Akachi could be the one but he is so hot and cold with her! They have an amazing date after which he tells her he will see her again...never! Then later calls her up to ask her out again. The second date is also great but when Ako tries again he declines! Her frustrations with it begin to run high and to make matters worse her apartment doesn't feel like the right place to be raising a little girl. Disillusioned she decides to move to Brindleton Bay. The sea, the family vibes, and a house with a pool and a yard! What could be better? Her housewarming party brings a stroke of good luck when Tatsuya shows up sans date. It seems like he and the girl didn't work out and now he wants to take Ako out! After an amazing date he asks if he can move in! Ako decides it's better to ask for forgiveness than permission and tells him absolutely! Then she goes to break it off with Akachi. Tatsuya and Ako start climbing the fame ladder together. He teaches Afua to ride her bike, cleans up around the house, and shares his generous spirit and love of art with everyone!
