Accolades and Adulthood

 

Home from Ondarian Afua struggles to return to life away from the kingdom. She goes back to working at the coffee shop but longs for sunshine, palace life, and power!! When her 18th birthday comes around, she knows exactly what her next move will be!!



Ako and Tatsuya escort her back to Dambele where Jawara surprises her by titling her The Duchess of Brindleton Bay! Finally ready to take her place in the kingdom as the heir to the Darong Dynasty, Afua feels complete. A tearful goodbye is said but Ako and Tatsuya know Afua is in good hands.



Tatsuya's encounter with the Kodama in Mt. Komorebi has him contemplating his future. He begins to desire more adventure and excitement. He visits Ravenwood and vows to meet and befriend a ghost! Then he sets his sights on climbing to the top of Mt. Komorebi! While he makes it to the second summit, he fails to reach the peak and comes home with a new goal in mind...winning a Starlight Accolade!



His rock climbing expedition led him to meeting world famous actress Judith Ward who gets him a gig on a commercial for Preclinical Pharmaceuticals. The director is so impressed with his performace he offers him a guest role on a new kids show he's making called Critters from the Mauven Forest. 




His musical prowess shines as a Vulpe and the kids love his performance! Not only does Tatsuya become a household name -- he gets the nomination for best actor in a kids program!



His stardom is on the rise! Paparazzi follow him everywhere and people beg him to do the famous Mauven Critters dance moves! Things are looking up for the once aimless actor.



Back home Ako struggles with another negative pregnancy test. She sets her focus on her work and befriends a stray cat in the neighborhood but she starts to wonder if motherhood is going to happen for her. When Tatsuya sets off on a month long adventure to the summit of Mt. Komorebi, Ako gets some surprising news!



She's pregnant!! The timing couldn't be worse for Ako who has an upcoming role on Dignity & Decorum but luckily the producers are able to write the pregancy into the show. The appearance goes so well that Ako is offered some roles on feature length films! Finally her dreams of being a movie star are coming true! Yet Ako worries if she can have both motherhood AND a fulfilling career.


She and Tatsuya announce the impending birth of their baby girl at the Starlight Accolades later that year. The world is so excited for their favorite stars to have a baby! Even better...



Tatsuya WINS the Accolade!! In his speech he gives immense thanks to his wife Ako for picking him up when he was at his lowest. She never let him give up on his dreams and now together they share success and soon a new baby!



Back home Tatsuya begins preparing for another attempt at reaching the peak of Mt. Komorebi and debates his next big role. Meanwhile Ako gives birth to their baby girl, Ruka, and weighs the idea of taking some time away from acting for her next big role...motherhood!

Day one and two: The Unraveling of Secrets

Afua, Tatsuya, and Ako   Our story begins with Ako Neal. As a little girl growing up in Tomarang all Ako has dreamed about is being a famous actress. A surprise inheritance of $4000 gives her the money she needs to move to Copperdale to try to make it big. She finds a talent agency, books a few gigs and immediately falls for fellow actor Tatsya Nakagawa. The chemistry is intense! But imagine her disappointment when he says he isn't interested!! Later that day a friend, Makoa asks her out. But on their first date she learns that he is already married!! A mysterious phone call offers her a big inheritance if she marries in the next week which only makes Ako more frustrated about Tatsuya's "No thanks" and Makoas betrayal. The set up: Matriarchy

 This is my second Sims legacy which will run for a minimum of 10 generations OR until the Sim family has at least 200,000 in cash money.  Here are the rules for this legacy: Legacy #2: RULES: Play is through FIRST daughter only. No children are to be born past the first daughter. (If no daughters are born before the Sim is an elder play may go through the first boy) All reasonable requests are to be agreed to.  Marriage ONLY to those with Amazing Compatibility. Any person with the trait can be chosen.  **Exception** IF an NPC proposes YOU MUST SAY YES. No children are to be born until sims are adults. No money cheats whatsoever. (skill cheats are OK if they do NOT add money to the Sims account ie. no career cheats) Sims must live in at least two locations in their life. College town DOES NOT count. All of the Sims wants must be completed. The Sim must complete at least one aspiration. If the Sim dies with no children then play begins through their next oldest siblin...
