Life with Jihoon isn't going well either. He is intensely ANGRY all the time and even kicks over the trash bins on his way home from work one day. Ruka notices that he's starting to turn green and after some research they decide to go to Innisfree to see if he can be healed by the fairies.
Back home they finally start to fall into a routine together. But when they throw a birthday party for Jihoon, Ruka starts to feel intensely sick...
Everyone shows up to watch them exchange their vows! Ako couldn't be happier for her girls. A new grandchild AND a new son-in-law. What a week!
Asa even makes her own gourmet wedding cake. She's already got a job waiting for her in Henford-On-Bagley and she is so excited about the new life she is about to start with Cian.
She is excited for Ruka too! Cheers to being an aunt!!
Following the wedding Cian and Asa spend a week in Tartosa on their honeymoon. They relax on the beach, hike, swim under waterfalls, and eat delicious food.
Asa starts to feel really sick a few days into the trip though. Ruka suggests maybe she is expecting too! Asa laughs it off but then starts to wonder if maybe she IS pregnant...
In Mt. Komorebi Ruka has taken up a coach position instead of mascot since she's gotten too big for the llama suit. She also feels maybe they've outgrown their house. It's a small one bedroom in Wakaba and Ruka doesn't think it's going to work for them with the baby. Though she really wants to stay in Wakaba there aren't any homes available in their price range. Reluctantly, she agrees to move to Senbamachi with Jihoon. He finds them a two story with a nice garden area and even though it's much quieter than Ruka wanted, it's pretty and the size is much better for raising a child.
When the baby arrives, a boy they've named Jungkook, Ruka is over the moon. But she is also growing frustrated with the quiet, simple life here in Senbamachi. Growing up in San Sequoia life was so busy and she had a huge backyard and a pool. Ruka starts to wonder if she's built for life here in Mt. Komorebi.
Asa, on the other hand, is embracing a different kind of simple life. In the quiet of Finchwick she is starting to garden and has purchased some chickens! Having access to fresh ingredients has inspired her to make new and exciting meals and her career as a chef has taken off! But Asa has a new goal now that she is carrying a little girl...be the BEST mother in the world. She wonders if a move to Old New Henford might be better for her family. Sure, it's further out in the country...but the rolling green hills, space to run and play and room for larger animals sounds so appealing!!
Asa and Cian start to discuss it when Keely is born but a call from her brother brings a new concern to the forefront.
Jimin has moved west to start his dream life as a rancher and with Taeyang readying himself to start university things have gone sideways for Ako. Gnomes have popped up everywhere, dishes on every counter...
...so many repairs that need to be done! Ruka and Asa debate hiring some help but ultimately, the house is too big for Ako alone. The girls decide to move her in with them. Since Cian works as a writer and is home often, and Asa's job allows her to build her own schedule, they decide that Asa will help care for her for now. Then when Ruka is more secure at work she can go stay there for awhile.
Asa frames it as a way for Ako to help her out with the new baby. Ako is all to happy to help! Will she like the English countryside as much as her daughter? Time will tell...
