When summer ends, it's back to school for Asa. As a senior she has a few extra class spots and she fills them with music. She takes a special interest in the violin and starts to get really good at it!

Senior pranks are in full swing too and some of the boys have filled the halls with enchanted evil gnomes! It makes for an interesting first week back.
Asa attends career day and has LOTS of questions about different career paths. She has her sights set on being a concert violinist but wonders if there are other creative outlets that might be fun! With her musical talents she considers life as as singer, musical theatre actress, or even a songwriter!
Ruka continues her job at the ThrifTea but the late night shifts have grown tiring and she starts to feel like maybe she is wasting her time there. If only she could decide on a career path! Her sister seems so sure of her future and yet Ruka remains lost. Life feels so boring!
On the other hand in Ondarian things are anything BUT boring. A chance encounter with a potential ally kingdom introduces Afua to the prince of her dreams. They both fall hard and FAST and when they marry it's an event the whole kingdom celebrates. They get to work on an heir but when Afua finally becomes pregnant she uncovers another secret.
It seems that her sister Dawara hasn't registered her as the heir to the Darong Dynasty after all! The register shows Afua only as a lady of the court! Infuriated Afua confronts Dawara. She challenges her to a duel but the kingdom has grown weary of Lord Obi and his lack of accountability to the people. Their support for the new Duke and for Afua greatly outweighs their support for the future Duke Obi. Defeated Dawara abdictes the title to Afua. With the support of her new husbands kingdom, the two nations come together to crown Afua with a new title...QUEEN.
Together she and her new husband await the arrival of their future heir!
Meanwhile back in San Sequoia things have gotten more interesting as well. An exchange student from Mt. Komorebi and Asa make fast friends. When Asa invites him over to hang out he develops a MASSIVE crush on Ruka! Asa encourages him to ask her to come to senior prom, but when he and Asa practice with the prom-posal sign Ruka thinks he's asking Asa for REAL. Asa tells Jihoon he should just explain the mistake but Jihoon chickens out and Ruka picks up a shift at work that night.
Asa and Jihoon attend as friends and while he dances, eats, and even wins the Jester crown...
(alongside Asa as Prom Queen), he admits that he finds American prom to be a bit boring. Asa invites him to come to after prom with her friends and promises it will be better!
Meanwhile a power issue forces Ruka to leave work early and, still feeling really lost and frustrated, seh re-evaluates what she is doing with her life. She lets her sister know she has left work and Asa sees her opportunity to right things and invites her to the pier to hangout.
Once there Asa makes an excuse to leave Jihoon and Ruka at the boba tea stand while she goes to do some impromtu performing! Everyone loves her performance and she starts to feel really certain that her future will be in performing arts! Meanwhile back a the boba stand...
Jihoon confesses the prom-posal mistake and tells Ruka about his feelings for her. Ruka is overjoyed and they share their first kiss! She may not know what her career goals are but she is definitely sure about her feelings for Jihoon!
Asa returns to school on Monday but she is distracted by the upcoming musical the drama club is showing. She has earned the lead role and wants to make it extra memorable. She spends most of her free time running lines, practicing singing and making notes for changes in the script.
Tatsuya is enjoying his quiet life at home with Jimin. But he is starting to get bored with life and feeling like he has no goals. He wonders what life will have in store for him when Jimin is in school in a few years. He starts to encourage Ako to retire so they can travel but she is still working towards her goals as an actress. To pass the time while Jimin naps Tatsuya opens some investment accounts for the girls and checks them for returns often.
Ruka decides to switch jobs, trading her boring shifts at the Thriftea for a more exciting venue on the pier as a lifeguard. But on her first shift someone almost drowns and Ruka develops an intense fear of water! She goes to Tatsuya for some advice and he tells her to face her fears and get back in that water!! Afterall, she saved the little girl! Ruka spends some time thinking over the advice and finally gives it a go. She signs up for some excursions with the local boating company and discovers she loves the open water. She finally knows what she wants to do with her life--become a marine biologist!! Meanwhile Tatsuya learns that his parents have passed away and takes the news incredibly hard. Though he attends several rounds of grief counseling he just can't seem to shake his anger at the situation.
Will Ruka finally enroll in college with her newfound love of water? Will Asa graduate top of her class and ace her role in the musical? Will Ako reach her goals? and is the new heir to the Darong Dynasty a boy or a girl?....stay tuned!
